Mendelssohn's glorious oratorio telling the life of the prophet Elijah, first premiered in Birmingham in 1846. We have 112 singers, a full orchestra, and four wonderful soloists, all under the energetic and inspiring direction of our Musical Director, Simon Bell. Our annual celebration of Christmas with the Adult, Youth and Minpins choirs in the splendid Victorian St George's church in Nailsworth.
